WHAT IS THE IMMIGRANT INVESTOR PROGRAMME？
Irish Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP)
Established by the Irish Government in 2012, the Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP) was designed to attract foreign direct investment, fostering business growth and job creation in Ireland. The programme provides non-EEA investors and business professionals with an opportunity to invest in Ireland while securing a stable residency status.
To qualify, applicants must be high-net-worth individuals with a minimum personal wealth of 2 million. Applications are assessed by an Evaluation Committee, comprising senior officials from key Irish Government Departments and Agencies.The IIP offers four structured investment pathways:
Enterprise Investment – A minimum investment of 1 million in an Irish enterprise for at least three years.
Investment Fund – A minimum investment of 1 million in an approved and Central Bank-regulated investment fund for at least three years.
Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) – A minimum investment of 2 million in any Irish REIT listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, held for at least three years.
Endowment – A minimum 500,000 philanthropic donation to a project benefiting arts, sports, health, culture, or education in Ireland.
